GCSE Physics covers energy stores and transfers, electricity (circuits, current and resistance), the particle model of matter, atomic structure and radioactivity, forces (motion, momentum, pressure), waves (sound, light, the electromagnetic spectrum), and magnetism and electromagnetism — plus space physics for students taking the separate-science award. Questions focus on choosing and applying the right equation (an equation sheet is provided in the exams) and on explaining physical ideas in words.
