A-Level Biology: Cell Structure and Division

Cell biology at A-level is where the microscope meets the mathematics: organelle functions must be known cold, but the marks often ride on magnification calculations, fractionation logic and the ability to reason about what different microscopes can and cannot show. This quiz covers all of it.

The organelle questions test working knowledge rather than list recall: which organelles cooperate in protein production and export (rough endoplasmic reticulum with the Golgi apparatus, tested as a pathway), what lysosomes actually do, and the specific modifications the Golgi performs.
