Quizzes, exams, and flashcards about Business (BTEC): BTEC Business: Finance and Marketing.
← T Levels and BTEC
Most of a BTEC National in Business is coursework: assignments you build, marked by your centre and moderated. A minority of units are externally assessed, either by a written paper or by a task done under controlled conditions — and those are the ones that behave like an exam and the ones worth rehearsing this way. In practice they are the units on personal and business finance, where you are asked to calculate and then to interpret, and on developing a marketing campaign, where you are given a brief and a set of figures and asked to justify a decision rather than describe a concept. Practice here concentrates on both: the arithmetic that has to be exactly right, and the judgement questions where the marks go to whoever can say what the numbers mean for the business in front of them.
